West Ham manager Slaven Bilic expects Dimitri Payet to be fit to start against Watford on Saturday.

The 29-year-old has not featured for the Hammers since the opening day defeat to Chelsea, but represented France during the international break after overcoming a knock.

And Bilic is ready to name Payet in his starting XI for the Hornets' visit to London Stadium.

"After the international break we will have first training with full squad," said Bilic

"We have to see but we should have some players back.

"Manuel Lanzini is fully fit and all the guys who were involved in international duty have not picked up any injuries.

"I have just seen Dimitri Payet and he has not played for us since the Chelsea game. He has played for France and we will see today.

"I am expecting him to be fit and ready to start the game. We have missed him. It is the same for every club. France missed him."
