Harry Kane has been included in Tottenham's starting line up for Sunday afternoon's Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane.

The 22-year-old was only named amongst the substitutes in midweek but has been reinstalled at Spurs' attacking spearhead for the visit of the south Londoners.

Dele Alli, who impressed against FK Qarabag has been named as a central midfielder alongside Eric Dier, who has successfully shaken off the knock he picked up against the Azerbaijani minnows.

Heung-min Son has been included on the right flank within Mauricio Pochettino's preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

Palace striker Connor Wikcham has lost his battle for fitness so winger Yannick Bolasie has been handed a central role as the visitors look to claim their fourth win of the campaign.

Spurs have endured an indifferent start to the campaign but will have been buoyed by their victory over FK Qarabg in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Pochettino's side could climb as high as sixth with a commanding victory yet Palace are in fine form and have an opportunity to force their way into the top four with all three points.

The Eagles have already collected one sizeable scalp away form home this season and will be keen to secure another at the expense of their London rivals.

All the signs suggest we are in for an even - and entertaining - encounter this afternoon.

What they're saying

Mauricio Pochettino: "Palace have improved in different positions and showed it in the last nine or 10 games - they have won eight.

"They are a very strong team and have improved a lot from last season. This season they've really kicked on - it will be a tough test.

"They've got a bit of everything now because they are organised, they defend well but then they also have good attacking players with flair and creativity."

Alan Pardew: "Spurs have some outstanding players. I'm a big fan of [Harry] Kane, [Nacer] Chadli and [Christian] Eriksen.

"They will definitely finish in the top ten. I can cope with winning 3-2, 4-3, 5-4. The bottom line is I want this team to think about scoring goals.

"The players are smiley and happy. We're going to go out and try to take the game to Spurs."
