Jan Vertonghen has committed his future to Tottenham after claiming there’s ‘no way’ he will leave the club this summer.

The Belgian international has once again been linked with a possible exit from White Hart Lane, with reports claiming that Napoli maintain their interest in the defender, despite losing manager Rafa Benitez to Real Madrid.

In a recent interview with L’Equipe, Vertonghen admitted that Spurs ‘must keep hold’ of star goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, and the former Ajax man has now committed his future to the club.

“I think I'll stay,” he told Belgian publication Sport Wereld.

“That’s one of those typical rumours doing the rounds every summer. There's no way I'm leaving.”

The 22-year-old has signed a five-year-contract with Tottenham, joining from Bundesliga side Cologne.
