Tottenham have confirmed the departure of Pierluigi Gollini plus a handful of academy players.

The Italian goalkeeper was signed by the Premier League club last summer from Atalanta, on a loan deal to provide back-up to Hugo Lloris.

He made 10 appearances at Spurs, all of which came in cup competitions. Fraser Forster is set to replace Gollini when he signs from Southampton on a free transfer at the end of the month.

A Spurs statement on Thursday read: “We thank Pierluigi for his service and wish him well for the future.”

Tottenham also announced the list of academy players leaving the club when their contracts expire this summer.

J'Neil Bennett, Kacper Kurylowicz, Dermi Lusala, Thimothee Lo-Tutala, Josh Oluwayemi, Tobi Omole and Isak Solberg will leave the Under-23s at the conclusion of their contracts.

Under-18 players Jez Davies, Jordan Hackett, Khalon Haysman, Renaldo Torraj and Oliver Turner are also moving on.
