Tottenham have had a stellar transfer window, rivaling the likes of big-spending Chelsea with a number of smart deals.
Jose Mourinho has addressed the weaknesses in this squad with little outlay, and Daniel Levy even brought Gareth Bale back to the club in a headline-grabbing loan move.
However, Mourinho still wants a centre-back and has long admirer Inter Milan's Milan Skrianiar.

Is the deal close?

Standard Sport understands Tottenham were ready to make a fresh attempt to sign Skriniar ahead of Deadline Day but time is running out.
Inter publicly refused to sell Skriniar following talks with Spurs last month but are now ready to test their resolve with a formal bid.
Inter Milan transfer chief Piero Ausiliotold Tuttomercatoweb last week: “We reiterated that Skriniar is not on the market and no offers have arrived in this sense.
“Rather than reiterating that he will stay here I don’t know what to say.”
Inter value the player at around £55m, though Spurs are understood to be unwilling to going beyond £35m. Something will have to give.
Other targets
Spurs are also interested in Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, who could be allowed to move across London on loan provided he signs a one-year contract extension first.
South Korean Kim Min-jae and Juventus' Merih Demiral are also targets.
Manchester City's out-of-favour defender John Stones was linked to a loan move early on Deadline Day.
