Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for April.

Spurs won all six of their games in the month to keep the pressure on league leaders Chelsea, though their title hopes would ultimately fade at West Ham last week.

However there was much to celebrate in April for Tottenham fans, with the final North London Derby at White Hart Lane ending in a 2-0 victory over Arsenal, Dele Alli and Harry Kane scoring the goals.

Having won the award for the fourth time in his managerial career Pochettino was keen for the prize to be shared throughout the club.

Tottenham Greatest Moments

“I feel proud because it is a collective reward,” he said.

“It’s not only [for] the manager. The players, the staff, they work very hard.

“It’s a very important trophy, a very important award. It's a trophy that deserves to be shared with all at the club.

“It was a fantastic month. Six games, we scored 16 goals and conceded only one. 18 points was fantastic to keep the hope for fighting for the Premier League to put pressure on Chelsea.”
