One of the biggest games of the season is on Saturday as fourth-placed Manchester City host third-placed Chelsea.

The champions will be desperate to return to winnings after Liverpool opened up a nine-point gap on themselves, while Frank Lampard can tighten Chelsea's grip on the Champions League spots after a expectations-defying start.

As is customary ahead of fixtures of this magnitude, a pundit has picked his combined XI for the two teams and Paul Ince has made his picks for the Etihad Stadium test.

As is customary after combined XIs of this magnitude, it has not gone down well.

Much of the ire from fans is the exclusion of Bernardo Silva or David Silva in midfield, namely Mason Mount, while Kurt Zouma's inclusion in defence is equally divisive.

It's worth noting that Bernardo is suspended, so it's probably fair to assume Ince has gone for available players.

Anyway, here it is.
