Norwich v West Ham team news: Sam Allardyce makes two changes

GETTY

West Ham make two changes following the 0-0 draw at home to Aston Villa.

James Collins replaces the injured Winston Reid in defence and Joe Cole is preferred to Stewart Downing.

Norwich manager Chris Hughton has resisted the temptation to make wholesale changes to his faltering side to face West Ham although captain Sebastien Bassong has dropped to the bench.

The Canaries lost 7-0 at Manchester City last weekend and Bassong was one of three casualties of that result, losing his place to Ryan Bennett as Robert Snodgrass and Johan Elmander were also brought in.

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Turner, R Bennett, Olsson; Snodgrass, Howson, Fer, Pilkington; Elmander, Hooper. Subs: Bunn, Whittaker, Johnson, Bassong, Hoolahan, Becchio, Redmond.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Tomkins, Rat, Noble, Nolan, Collison, Downing, J. Cole, Morrison. Subs: Adrian, O'Brien, McCartney, Maiga, Jarvis, Diame, C. Cole
