Mauricio Pochettino believes Tottenham squad have one of the 'mentally strongest' squads in the Premier League.
Spurs have started the campaign in fine form, winning five of their opening eight top-flight games to climb to third place in the table.
But doubts still linger in some quarters in regards to Tottenham's ability to last the course this term.
The north Londoners have proved that they boast strength in depth during Harry Kane's injury absence but it has been suggested last season's title collapse has left a lasting impression on Pochettino's young side.
However, the Argentine coach is adamant his players possess a unity few teams can match ahead of Saturday's trip to face Bournemouth.
"It's about mentality," Pochettino insisted. I think we are one of the best squads mentally. We are very strong. The squad is very strong. I think that is very important - the spirit.
Jan Vertonghen recently hailed Tottenham as the best squad in England's top tier and while Pochettino admits the matter of quality is up for debate, he is delighted to hear the Belgian speak so confidently about his teammates.
"About quality, it is always subjective. I think the people in another club and the players believe that every team has the best squad.
"It's important for me to hear that our players believe that we are stronger than another. Winning gives you belief. It is good to hear from our own player that the squad is stronger than another."
