Loris Karius endured another howler during Besiktas' 2-0 Europa League defeat to Malmo.

The 25-year-old was undone by a cross from Malmo's Andreas Vindheim which deflected off defender Caner Erkin before flying past Karius at his near post to open the scoring in the second half

Besiktas' misery was then coumpounded when a Markus Rosenberg penalty in the 76th minute sealed the win for the Swedish outfit.

The German goalkeeper is on loan at the Turkish side from Liverpool having been replaced by Alisson at Anfield follwing his Champions League final shocker, where he was at fault for two of Real Madrid's three goals in Kiev.

Besiktas paid an intial loan fee of £2.25million for the Karius, and - should certain criteria be met during his spell with the club - will be obliged to buy the keeper for a further £9.5m.

Karius has made three League appearances and two Europa League appearances since his move, keeping one clean sheet.
