Belgium and Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has backed striker Divock Origi to be a hit in the Premier League, with Liverpool and Spurs circling the impressive Lille forward.
Origi, who the scored the winning goal against Russia in Group H, has impressed from the bench for Belgium in their run to the last 16, often replacing Chelsea's out-of-form Romelu Lukaku.
The striker admitted last week that he has always dreamed of playing in England, and having attracted the attentions of both Liverpool and Tottenham, Vertonghen believes Origi would be a big hit in the Premier League.
"He has come on in every game, and he's changed games for us," Vertonghen told reporters.
"He has the qualities to play for a good team in the Premier League and I think he shows it every game.
"He has the qualities to go to a bigger league, but obviously with Lille playing in the Champions League we'll see."
Vertonghen, who has been linked with a transfer away from White Hart Lane this summer, played down talk of unrest - insisting that he's 'very confident' about Spurs ahead of the new season.
"I've heard some good stories about our new manager," he continued.
"I'm looking forward to meeting him and talking to him and we'll see what's going to happen this summer but I'm very confident about Tottenham next season."
