Jurgen Klopp insists he is not thinking about the Champions League final, only Liverpool's "important" Premier League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Before the Reds take on Zinedine Zidane's side in Kyiv on 26 May, however, Liverpool will be aiming to try and secure their top-four status by beating Chelsea on Sunday and then doing the same when they host Brighton one week later.

And Klopp insists that his attentions are only focused on the trip to Stamford Bridge this weekend because of the threat Champions League hopefuls Chelsea could pose his side.

Speaking to reporters, Klopp said: "Both games are very, very important. We have, how I see it, two semi-finals against Chelsea and Brighton. There is no chance to think about anything else.

"After these two games, we have two weeks' time to prepare for the other game which is in three weeks. It would sound crazy if I was to think about it at the moment.

"They are both exactly the same important, there is no difference.

"The most important game of my career so far is the Chelsea game on Sunday. That is how it is, and then Brighton could be very important as well.

"I've had a few, not only here - with Dortmund. I had a few very important games with Mainz and they all have their own very important moment."
