Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp refused the discuss the possibility of a move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho – but says the club could be busy during the January transfer window.
Sancho’s future at Dortmund has come under scrutiny with Lucien Favre benching the England international for key games against Barcelona and Bayern Munich in recent weeks.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer views the 20-year-old as a leading transfer target for Manchester United but Liverpool have also been credited with interest in the former Manchester City youngster.
Klopp would not be drawn on whether the club were looking to make a move, however, although he did suggest a £100m valuation could prove problematic if they were ever to firm up their interest.
Asked if he had anything to say on Sancho Klopp said: “No. He's a very good player.” Pushed on that £100m price tag Klopp admitted: “That's one issue. 100 percent an issue.

“But there's nothing to say about it. I know how it sounds, but I cannot change that.
“There's nothing to say about it, which can mean there's absolutely nothing to say about it.”
Klopp did suggest however Liverpool will be in a position to bring in recruitments if needed in January.
“For us it is always the same. We don't speak about it but we are pretty much always ready to do something if it will help us. “If not, then not. We will see. I think the summer window is more difficult because of the different moments when it closes in Europe.
“It only hurts English clubs - we can only buy until a specific moment, other clubs can buy into the season.”
