Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is set to confirm he is ending his nine-year spell at Stamford Bridge to join United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.
It was revealed last week that Mikel's representatives were in talks with Al Ain over a move from the Premier League champions.
And now Al Ain striker Asamoah Gyan, who moved there from Sunderland in 2012, claims the deal has been completed.
He said: “I heard it this week that he has agreed terms with Al Ain and will most definitely be playing for us next season.
"It’s great news for us because Mikel is a very good player and very experienced.

“It will be exciting playing with him in the same team, because I believe both of us, with the help of our other colleagues, can do more for the club.”
Chelsea have been trying to offload Mikel for the past few seasons as his influence on the first team continued to dwindle.
He started just six League games as Chelsea claimed their first title for five years this term and was named in the first XI only 13 times overall.
