How Antonio Conte led Chelsea to the 2016-17 Premier League title

Chelsea have won the 2016-17 Premier League title.

The 2016/17 campaign has proved to be a remarkable turnaround for a club that followed up their title win of two years ago by suffering their worst season in the Roman Abramovich era.

Chelsea's lowly finish of 10th place last term, which cost Jose Mourinho his job, saw the Blues turn to Antonio Conte and task the Italian with the aim of reviving the club.

And that he has done.

The former Italy and Juventus boss signed a handful of players in key areas last summer, put the squad through a vigorous fitness regime and on a strict diet plan before reacting to a poor run of results in September by switching to a 3-4-3 formation.

The change in set-up proved vital as Chelsea went on an impressive 13-game winning streak, which has undoubtedly been a big reason why the club have won the title.
