Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon has attracted attention from numerous Premier League clubs in this window but Standard Sport understands he will not be leaving Craven Cottage.

Sessegnon, 16, became the youngest scorer in the history of the Championship when he was on target in Fulham’s recent 2-2 home draw with Cardiff.

Sessegnon has been compared with Gareth Bale and is regarded as one of the brightest talents outside the top flight.

Speaking last month, Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic was full of praise for the Fulham youngster.

"He is a young player and he will participate in the future and help us,” he told BBC Radio London. “He has many years of being a player ahead of him."

"It is not a question of if someone is 16 or 36…If you are ready to play football, it is not important how old you are. Leeds was the first time he played in the Championship and he did a very good job."
