Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic will only leave Fiorentina for €30 million (£26m), according to the Serie A club’s president.

The Gunners will have to match Andrea Della Valle’s valuation for Jovetic or face losing out to one of a number of interested parties.

"We'll take €30 million or nothing,” said the 47-year-old. “If not, we'll give him to someone else.”

The announcement is expected to price Arsene Wenger out of a move for the 23-year-old.

Manchester City are in pole position to sign the striker, who has been subject to further interest from Chelsea and Juventus over recent months.

And Della Valle has said he will not accept players as makeweights in a part-exchange deal.

He appears adamant that Fiorentina will receive the full asking price for their starlet, who scored 13 goals in 31 appearances last season.

Della Valle added: "They should understand if they have the money or not, it's not up to me to help them. We will not accept players.

"We will not drop from €30 million. I won't wait much longer.”
