Euro 2016 is finally upon and 24 nations will soon be battling it out for glory in France.

But in one of the tournament's most interesting sub plots plenty more strikers will also be vying for individual glory.

Winning a Golden Boot can define a player's career and there are an array of attackers in exciting form ahead of the tournament.

England's very own Harry Kane will be hoping he can score the goals to add the Euro 2016 Golden Boot to the one he recently picked up after a superb season in the Premier League.

But is the 22-year-old really a likely candidate? Let's not forget there's still a chance he could make way for Leicester striker Jamie Vardy.

Former England striker Michael Owen knows all about scoring goals at elite level, having burst onto the scene at the World Cup in 1998.

And we've asked the 36-year-old to pick out five names whom he believes are candidates to set the world alight in France.

Owen has looked all the men in Roy Hodgson's squad but he's picked out a couple of names we could be hearing a lot more about over the next few weeks.
