Eric Dier has urged Tottenham to maintain their impressive home record during the Premier League run-in.

Mauricio Pochettino's side swatted Stoke aside at the weekend, courtesy of a 4-0 scoreline, and are the only team in England's top tier yet to taste defeat on home turf this season.

Spurs have amassed 35 points from 13 games at White Hart Lane, conceding just five goals in the process, and are on course to bid farewell to their stadium in style.

Dier is keen for the run to continue as Spurs look to finish the campaign strongly, having successfully bounced back from their Europa League disappointment.

"This is where we have to go - we have to keep going this way. It’s really important that we keep our home record the way it is," Dier told Tottenham's official website.

“It was really good to bounce back after the disappointment of Thursday so everyone is really happy with that."

Dele Alli scored his 12th top-flight goal of the season in the victory over Mark Hughes' side and was delighted by the manner in which Spurs dictated the game.

“We’ve been dominant all year at White Hart Lane and we owed it to the fans as well, especially after what happened on Thursday.

"It was a great performance from all the lads," the 20-year-old insisted.

The north Londoners have six top-flight fixtures left to play on their home patch, starting with Sunday's clash versus Everton - plus an FA Cup quarter-final against Millwall, and could conceivably end the campaign unbeaten in N17.
