England's friendly match with France will take place as planned next week, the French Football Federation (FFF) has confirmed.

The football governing body released a statement on Saturday afternoon which confirmed the news that France will travel to England for the game at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday evening despite Friday night's terrorism attacks in Paris.

"As President Noel Le Graët confirmed on Saturday morning, the England-France match scheduled for Tuesday 17 November (20h) will take place at Wembley," the statement on the FFF's website read.

The news comes after 127 people were killed in a series of coordinated attacks in the French capital on Friday night, which included explosions occurring outside the Stade de France where Les Bleus were playing Germany in an international friendly game.

France has since declared a national state of emergency and closed its borders in the aftermath of the attacks, with President Francois Hollande declaring the attacks as "an act of war" committed by Isis.
