Edinson Cavani had a busy night against Arsenal, with the PSG striker scoring the opening goal before avoiding a red card after an altercation with Aaron Ramsey.

The PSG striker slid in at the back post in the 18th minute to score his 21st goal in 21 games for club and country, but the Uruguay international was caught up in controversy just before Arsenal equalised.

Grzegorz Krychowiak conceded possession before fouling Alexis Sanchez in the PSG box to give away a penalty on the stroke of half-time, but referee Felix Brych was forced to break up an altercation between both sets of players.

Cavani appeared to strike Ramsey as he swung his right arm at the midfielder, though the striker was not punished by the referee as Olivier giroud went on to score the equaliser for Arsenal.
