We round up all the latest news from London's Football League clubs.

Brentford

Andre Gray believes Brentford can make an unlikely Premier League promotion push. Mark Warburton’s side are 10th in the Championship after a solid start but Gray says there is more to come.

“We set targets for runs of games and we have got to them,” said the striker. “We have missed out on a few points here and there, too, and if we had got them we would be even further up the table.

“Everyone is happy. If we tweak a few things and adjust to those margins we can be up there at the end of the season.”

Charlton

The club are said to be keeping a close eye on Dutch defender Nick Kuipers as they look to build on their stunning start to the campaign.

Bob Peeters’s side sit just outside the play-off places on goal difference after their unbeaten run. And reports suggest they are considering making a move for the MVV Maastricht defender, who would like to play in England. But Derby, Huddersfield and Brighton are also said to be tracking the 22-year-old and Charlton may have to make a move soon.

Fulham

Patrick Roberts gave another notice of his considerable talent when scoring twice in England Under-19s’ 8-0 victory over Luxembourg.

The 17-year-old winger has been tracked by Arsenal and Liverpool and Fulham could struggle to hold onto him if a big-money offer is made. Roberts, who three days earlier scored against Belarus, was in inspired form as the Young Lions made it two wins out of two in their Euro 2015 qualifying campaign.

Millwall

Josh Wright is expected to go out on loan again after returning from a temporary spell with Crawley.

The midfielder signed a three-month deal with Crawley last month but only made two starts and two substitute appearances for the club. And Millwall have activated a clause allowing them to recall Wright within 28 days, with Ian Holloway said to be unhappy over Wright’s lack of game time.

He is now expected to be allowed to leave on loan again, with Wright having made just two appearances for Millwall this season.

Leyton Orient

Caretaker manager Kevin Nugent expects his future to be sorted out this week.

Nugent, whose side showed tremendous spirit to recover from conceding two goals in injury time to grab a point at Sheffield United, said: “The club will be making a statement shortly on the current situation.”

Paddy McCarthy equalised for United in the 90th minute and Marc McNulty looked to have won it moments later but Romain Vincelot’s last-gasp header earned Orient a draw.

Dagenham & Redbridge

Wayne Burnett has challenged his side to show more consistency, especially at home, after their 2-1 victory at Accrington.

The result, which moved the Daggers four points clear of the League Two relegation zone, was inspired by Ade Yusuff’s second-half double.

“Our home form has been hopeless, even at times when we’ve played very, very well,” said Burnett. “But we need consistency in our play and we’ll be okay.”

Wimbledon

Adebayo Akinfenwa followed up his winner against MK Dons in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy with a first-half double to help Wimbledon grab a 3-2 victory against League Two leaders Bury.

Akinfenwa’s two goals in the space of 11 minutes came against the run of play as Bury dominated the opening stages of the first half. “The first 20 minutes we got pulled about a bit but once we got to grips with it we were excellent,” said Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley.
