Christian Eriksen: Watch every Euros team send get well message to Denmark star

Christian Eriksen has received get well messages from the other 23 teams competing at Euro 2020, the referees at the tournament and Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin.

Denmark midfielder Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest shortly before half-time of Saturday’s match with Finland and received CPR on the pitch, while a defibrillator was also used on him.

The former Tottenham midfielder is recovering in hospital, where he will watch Denmark’s game with Belgium on Thursday, and it was confirmed this morning he will be fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).

Get well messages and support for Eriksen has been pouring in from football fans and players across the world.

And now the other 23 teams competing at Euro 2020, and UEFA president Ceferin, have joined together to wish Eriksen a full recovery.

Players and managers from the other teams have all wished Eriksen well, with several of his former Tottenham team-mates involved - such as Gareth Bale, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Kieran Tripper.

Several other Premier League players were involved too, including Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka, Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic, Liverpool pair Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota and Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The referee team at Euro 2020 have also signed a shirt for Eriksen and plan to give it to him when possible.
