Chelsea vs Hull City in FA Cup fifth round draw

Vaishali Bhardwaj29 January 2018

Chelsea will take on Hull City at Stamford Bridge in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Michy Batshuayi scored twice in the first half before Marcos Alonso netted a second-half free kick to help Chelsea see off Rafael Benitez's side.

Despite the comfortable victory in west London, Chelsea were forced to a replay in the third round by Norwich following a goalless first-leg draw at Carrow Road.

The second leg ended 1-1 after 90 minutes before the game went to extra-time - in which Alvaro Morata and Pedro were sent off - before a penalty shoot-out finished in Antonio Conte's side scoring five to Norwich's three.

Before Chelsea take on Hull, however, they face games against Bournemouth at home, Watford away and West Brom at home.
