Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed the club have received a "substantial offer" for Chelsea target Alex Sandro as he admitted the Italian giants will not keep the player against his will.

Marotta revealed last week that Juventus rejected a "very good offer" from Chelsea for Sandro - with Standard Sport reporting earlier this month it will take a minimum of £52million to persuade the Serie A side to sell the left back.

Chelsea have promised to double Sandro's wages to about £150,000 per week should he make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

And despite the Brazil international having three years left on his contract in Turin, Marotta has insisted Juve will not keep Sandro at the club if he wants to join Chelsea.

He said: "A substantial offer has arrived.

"We have no intention of selling anyone, but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go, because we don't keep anyone against their will.

"But at the moment there are no such situations and I hope nobody will leave."
