Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta could be a doubt to feature against Chelsea in the Champions League after sustaining a hamstring injury on Sunday.

Iniesta, who played 92 minutes of Barcelona's comeback 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in February, was forced off in the first half of Barca's La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Barcelona later confirmed that Iniesta suffered a hamstring injury to his right leg, and will now need to undergo tests to determine the severity of the problem.

Should the injury rule the midfielder out of Barcelona's round of 16 second-leg tie against Antonio Conte's side on 14 March, it will leave Barca boss Ernesto Valverde with a problem in the middle of the park due to Philippe Coutinho being ineligible.

A goalless draw or a win would send Barcelona through to the quarter-finals of the competition, while victory or a score draw of 2-2 or more would ensure progress for Chelsea.
