Bournemouth are interested in taking Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda on loan for the rest of the season.

Chelsea will let Musonda leave due to Ross Barkley's arrival and want the attacking midfielder to join another English club.

Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe watched the 21-year-old score a fine brace in Chelsea's 2-1 win at Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday

Musonda is expected to attract several bids from clubs in the top two divisions, but Chelsea will want assurances he will play regularly.

Meanwhile, Barkley will miss Wednesday's EFL Cup semi-final between Chelsea and Arsenal and Stamford Bridge as he works on his fitness.

Asked when the former Everton man would be ready for action, Conte continued: "I don't know, it's very difficult to say now.

"But at the same time I'm very positive, because the player is a good guy, he's shown great will to work, great desire to help us very soon.

"And I think it's very very positive. I'm very happy to have Ross with us for the rest of the season."
