Bournemouth vs West Ham predicted lineups, confirmed team news and Premier League injury updates

Giuseppe Muro27 September 2019

After making nine changes for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup exit at Oxford United, Manuel Pellegrini will bring back West Ham's big guns for the trip to Bournemouth.

Aaron Cresswell is expected to start at left-back ahead of Arthur Masuaku following his impressive display against Manchester United.

Declan Rice and Mark Noble will be back in midfield after being rested in midweek and Ryan Fredericks is expected to shake off the knock he suffered last weekend.

One position which could be up for grabs in the West Ham team is the third spot behind Sebastien Haller - Manuel Lanzini returns to the squad from injury, but may not be an immediate starter.

Pablo Fornals did OK against Manchester United but he was poor against Oxford. The problem for Pellegrini is that no-one is knocking on the door to start ahead of him.

Angelo Ogbonna will come back in at centre-back as West Ham search to extend their run of three straight clean sheets in the Premier League.

As for Bournemouth, Eddie Howe will be without Dan Gosling, David Brooks, Charlie Daniels, Adam Smith and Junior Stanislas.

Predicted lineups

Bournemouth XI (4-4-2): Ramsdale; Stacey, Cook, Ake, Rico; Wilson, Lerma, Billing, King; Wilson, Solanke

West Ham XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Noble; Yarmolenko, Fornals, Anderson; Haller
