Barcelona coach Quique Setien has warned Antoine Griezmann that his price tag means little when it comes to picking the team and hinted that the French forward was at fault for Celta Vigo's late equaliser on Saturday.

Griezmann started on the bench in Barca's 2-2 draw at Balaidos in LaLiga as Setien preferred Ansu Fati on the left and the former Atletico attacker only came on for the last nine minutes to replace Luis Suarez.

Asked why he had left the 29-year-old out, Setien said: "I don't look at whether the signings are expensive or cheap.

"Last week we opted for one lineup and this week another. Last week you asked me why Ansu didn't play and this week Griezmann.

"They are decisions that I make and they are technical ones. And they are not capricious."

Griezmann was stood at the end of a defensive wall as Iago Aspas curled a ball around the Barca players and into the bottom corner two minutes from time, giving goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen no chance.

"The last goal they scored, a player jumped and the ball went in there," Setien said.
