Love them or loathe them, national based anthems are very much part of tournament football.

With Euro 2016 just around the corner expect a comedy duo, or a band that no-one has ever heard of, to be rushing into the studio any time now.

England are set to kick off their first game against Russia on June 11 and time is running out for Roy Hodgson's boys to put their name to a new track (which will inevitably end up in bargain bins around the country by Autumn.)

Wales have already got theirs in the bag. Chris Coleman's side are teaming up with Manic Street Preachers to record Together Stronger to celebrate their involvement in France this summer.

Euro 2016: Who should start for England?

But you're scratching your head as to who the Three Lions should link up with to churn out some harmonies, aren't you?

Well, Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has thrown Justin Bieber's hat into the ring.

The 21-year-old, who has won a handful of senior caps but missed out on the squad for upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Germany, is evidently a fan of the Canadian popstar.

"I'm probably going to get stick for this. But I'm going to say Justin Bieber," he told CheekySport.

However, would Bieber's potential effort be fit for 'purpose'?

Or is he definitely not the modern day's answer to 1996 classic Football's Coming Home?
