Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema leads the Women's PFA Players' Player of the Year nominees in a three-team battle.

Miedema is joined by Arsenal team-mate Kim Litte, while Chelsea pair Sam Kerr and Pernille Harder and Manchester City's Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp make up the shortlist.

Hemp was earlier also nominated in the Young Player of the Year shortlist and it is her second nod for the top prize. Kerr and Greenwood also pick up their second nomination. The Arsenal pair are recognised for a third time each.

Miedema recently ended intense speculation around her future at Arsenal by signing a new contract at the club, snubbing significant interest from elsewhere as one of the most talented in the women's game.

The Dutch striker scored 19 goals in 30 games, brining her remarkable tally with the Gunners to 114 in 132, but ended the season empty-handed.

Kerr finished as Women's Super League top scorer as Chelsea won the title for a third consecutive year, adding the FA Cup for a fine double.

Chelsea lost the League Cup final to City.
