Arsenal have produced some magic in the early part of the season to take them to the Premier League table summit, but the club's players were treated to something out of the ordinary when magician Drummond Money-Coutts made a visit to the Gunners' training ground.
Wojciech Szczesny, Per Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud were the stars chosen to take part as Money-Coutts performed his latest illusion, The Amazing Cabrio Trick.
The Gunners players were asked to guess the colour of a car under a cover, pick a card, name a memorable year in the club’s history and pick a club legend from random. The players were left stunned by what happened next.
“We’re used to the lads showing off their skills and tricks with a football, but Drummond was seriously impressive,” said Szczesny after the trick. “Speaking on behalf of the boys, we were really impressed and are pretty sure supporters will be too!”
