Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is will be a free agent this summer after it was confirmed he is leaving Bournemouth.
Wilshere moved to the south coast in January on a six-month deal after he had left West Ham earlier in the season.
The midfielder has made 17 appearances and scored two goals in that time, but he will now be moving on.
Bournemouth have decided not to extend Wilshere’s stay and he will now look for a new club.
It is not out of the question that the 29-year-old could go back to Bournemouth later in the summer, but much will depend on who the club’s manager is, with uncertainty over Jonathan Woodgate’s future following their playoff semi-final defeat to Brentford.
Wilshere is expected to attract interest from MLS clubs again, who were tracking him when he opted to leave West Ham.
Celtic could also emerge as an option for the midfielder if, as expected, Eddie Howe is appointed as their new boss.
Howe is a fan of Wilshere after working with him when he was in charge of Bournemouth.
