Arsenal injury update: Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus return dates and latest news

Latest injury news and possible return dates for Arsenal

A dramatic week of Premier League action has kept Arsenal top of the division.

Mikel Arteta’s young squad have reclaimed top spot, managing to do so without the services of Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus, both of whom were highlighted as key players earlier this season.

Clearly, that speaks to the quality and the confidence running through the side at the moment.

Still, the League leaders will be eager to get both players back as soon as possible.

If the last week of action has taught us anything, it’s that things can change in a heartbeat, and Partey and Jesus will be crucial in helping Arsenal hit the kind of consistency that took them so far up until recently.

In brighter news, both Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson made the squad for the win over Aston Villa.

The England international took several kicks during Saturday’s dramatic win at Villa Park and was seen limping as a result.

However, Arteta has confirmed Saka – perhaps his team’s standout player – is not injured.

While Jorginho’s arrival has helped bolster ranks in midfield, Partey’s importance cannot be understated.

Injured for the games against Manchester City and Villa, the midfielder was absent from training on Monday but has been earmarked for a return this weekend against Leicester or next week against Everton.

Arteta confirmed the striker was “not there” when asked if he would soon be fit enough to feature.

Last month, the Brazilian hinted he was hoping to return within four or five weeks, which would hint at early March.
