Spain winger Lucas Vasquez wants Real Madrid to resign Alvaro Morata this summer.

The striker, currently at Juventus, is the subject of transfer tug-of-war between Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, though the deal to bring him to the Premier League hinges on Real Madrid’s buy-back clause.

The Liga giants sold Morata to Juve back in 2014, but have the option to resign the striker for £23million.

Real Madrid are expected to trigger the clause, before selling him on this summer for an increased fee.

Speaking to Spanish publication El Partido, Vasquez said: “Hopefully Madrid re-sign Morata. He's had two exceedingly good years and if that's what the club decides it'll be good for everyone.”

Standard Sport understands that, while Morata will wait until the end of Euro 2016 to decide his future, he is attracted by a move to Londonwith Chelsea confident of sealing a deal.

Incoming boss Antonio Conte instructed Juve to sign Morata back in 2014, but left to take charge of the Italian national team before the deal was concluded.
