Antonio Conte: I have not picked Chelsea's FA Cup Final XI, too many deserve to play Arsenal!

Antonio Conte has admitted he doesn't yet know which team he will field for the FA Cup Final as too many of his players deserve to play Arsenal.

Conte made nine changes for Chelsea's home game against Watford on Monday night as he rested his regular starters following their Premier League title win three days earlier.

Despite a nervy match against the Hornets, which saw Walter Mazzarri's side come from behind to nearly secure a draw before Cesc Fabregas' late winner, Conte was pleased with the performance of his team.

With Chelsea playing their final league match of the season against already relegated Sunderland on Sunday, Conte was asked whether he would field his strongest side at Stamford Bridge in preparation for the FA Cup final a week later.

But the Italian admitted he will take his time in choosing his starting XI for the London derby because up to 14 of his squad members have shown in recent weeks they deserve to play at Wembley.

"We must have a plan because we have the FA Cup final. You start to play the final 10 days before so in my mind we have a plan to arrive in the best situation," he said.

When then asked whether he already knows his team for the Arsenal clash, Conte replied: "At the moment, no. I must be honest because I have a few days to make the best decision but now I have 13 or 14 players who deserve to play in the FA Cup.

"I have to take my time and then make the decision."

The Chelsea manager also reflected on the narrow win over Watford, which was secured in the 88th minute by Fabregas, and admitted he was glad to have handed game time to many of the younger members of his squad.

"I think at this stage of the season, I like to see this type of game, to watch both teams scoring so many goals," he added.

"But only at this stage of the season once you've won the league. I'm pleased because I made this decision to change and start our young players.

"It was a very important game - the first that we are champions. We conceded three goals but we scored four.

"I had a good answer [from the players]. We won 29 games and it's a great achievement. The most important thing is to win the league."
