Alexis Sanchez has been spotted at Stockport train station with his new Manchester United team-mates as they head to face Tottenham on Wednesday.

The new January signing, used to taking 14-minute flights between London Colney and Norwich with Arsenal, took to the rails on Tuesday ahead of the crunch Premier League clash.

Sanchez made his debut for United against Yeovil Town in the FA Cup on Friday, being named man of the match in a decision criticised by the League Two after the game.

United face Spurs at Wembley on Wednesday evening. Mauricio Pochettino's side have had a frustrating domestic season so far as they sit fifth, but have proven themselves more than capable of rising to the big occasion at their temporary home.

Real Madrid, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund can all attest to Spurs' strength and the eradication of the 'Wembley curse', nd United lost on their previous two away trips to Tottenham.
