Tottenham’s new £800million stadium is taking shape as these photographs show.

Spurs have released images of the work taking place next to their current White Hart Lane home.

The plan is for the 61,000-seat ground to open for the start of the 2018-19 season, with Spurs set to move out of White Hart Lane next term while the work is completed.

Standard Sport revealed last week that although Spurs have until Friday to confirm they will play at Wembley Stadium next term, that deadline could be pushed back.

Last Thursday, permission was granted allowing Spurs to play up to 27 matches at Wembley’s full capacity next season.

The aerial photographs shed more light on the scale of the project being undertaken as Spurs attempt to compete with the Premier League's elite.
