Britain's Mo Farah has confirmed he will compete in the 5,000 metres at the World Championships in Daegu as he looks to add to the silver medal he won over 10,000m on Sunday.

Farah revealed he was suffering from blisters after being narrowly beaten to the 10,000m title by Ethiopia's Ibrahim Jeilan, but after consulting medical staff the 28-year-old will take his place in the heats.

Those heats will be held on Thursday morning, with the final on Sunday evening - the final day of competition.
