Fan pays for Gnohere

New signing Arthur Gnohere will go straight into Ian Holloway's side to face Peterborough tonight.

The French defender signed on a two-and-a-half year contract from Burnley yesterday, with part of his wages supported by a fan who wants to be anonymous.

Gnohere, who played seven games on loan for Rangers earlier in the season, said: 'I want to get us promoted. We should be playing against bigger clubs.'

Holloway said: 'I wish I could name the supporter but I can only say what a fantastic gesture it is.'

Martin Rowlands is doubtful but Jamie Cureton, Richard Johnson and Kevin McLeod are all available.
