England recall Tremlett

12 April 2012

England have made one change to their line-up for today's third NatWest Series match against New Zealand, with Chris Tremlett being recalled for his first international of the summer.

The Hampshire seamer was preferred to county team-mate Dimitri Mascarenhas in the only change to England's line-up from Wednesday's rained off encounter at Edgbaston, which maintained their 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

It is Tremlett's first one-day international since featuring against India at Edgbaston last summer after left-arm seamer Ryan Sidebottom was again ruled out with a stiff back.

New Zealand also made one change to their line-up, with seamer Mark Gillespie replacing Michael Mason.

For the first time in the series, England captain Paul Collingwood won the toss and decided to put New Zealand into bat.
