Dowie won't sign Beck

14 April 2012

Iain Dowie has ruled out a move for former Middlesbrough striker Mikkel Beck despite inviting him to train with Crystal Palace. Dowie played with the former Denmark international at Queens Park Rangers and is doing him a favour while he recovers from injury.

A new goalkeeper remains Dowie's priority after Oldham's Les Pogliacomi rejected a move south.
