Delgado is unhappy Saint

Agustin Delgado, Southampton's Ecuadorean international, does not want to return to St Mary's Stadium.

The striker joined Southampton for £3.5 million in November but his season was cut short by a knee injury, which he believes was not taken seriously by the Premiership club.

"I really had a very bad experience in England. I didn't enjoy my days there at all," said the striker, before Ecuador's 2-1 home defeat by Brazilian club side Internacional in Quito.

"The people there thought that I didn't want to play but I was injured. My left knee was never right."
