Dean's quality pledge

Goalkeeper Dean Kiely is confident Charlton can recover from their opening day nightmare at Bolton.

Manager Alan Curbishley has threatened to ring the changes following Saturday's 4-1 mauling at the Reebok Stadium but Kiely believes the players deserve another chance. Kiely said: "We're all man enough to admit we didn't do enough in any department against Bolton.

"But that doesn't change the fact that we're a very good team in one of the best leagues in the world. We can bounce back and play quality football."
