De Prez pulls off surprise

David de Prez scored a hat-trick as First Division Chelmsford produced the fourth-round surprise of the Hockey Association Cup by defeating Premier side Hampstead & Westminster 4-1.

Canterbury were the only other top-flight side to be beaten, but their 4-2 defeat was more acceptable as it came against holders Reading.

It was also a bad weekend for Hampstead. They lost 3-0 at home to Surbiton in the league.
