Davis told: Stay with Dons

Watford goalkeeper Alec Chamberlain has urged his friend, Kelvin Davis, to stick it out at Wimbledon.

The Dons are in disarray with just one point from three games and their supporters deserting the First Division club in droves.

Davis is Wimbledon's star attraction, with Premiership clubs queueing up to sign him. But Chamberlain reckons his former Luton Town colleague should forget about a move away from Wimbledon.

Chamberlain said: "He's a good keeper and I understand he had a trial with Everton during the summer. However, I would have thought first-team football at Wimbledon is as important at the moment."
