Hiral's heroics against Aussies

Australia have not lost a World Cup match since 1999 but that didn't stop young Canada opener Hiral Patel putting them to the sword in Bangalore today.

In only his second match in the tournament, the 19-year-old smashed five fours and three sixes in a knock of 54 as Canada made the most of an excellent pitch to reach 120 for two after 22 overs.

Patel fell to all-rounder Shane Watson while Brett Lee removed John Davison for 14.
