Crewe v Watford

13 April 2012

(3pm, Gresty Road).
Away ticket info: £14 (£3.50-£11 concs). There will be limited availablility on the day. Tel. 01923 496 010
Fact: Watford have won their last three games at Crewe and were last defeated at Gresty Road 25 years ago
Recommended pub: The Bank (Nantwich Road) Graham Taylor says he's not worried as long as Watford are scoring goals. Fair enough, but Taylor would be even more serene if his side stopped conceding them, as last weekend when they led Portsmouth 2-0 after 17 minutes and finished up dropping two points. The Hornets remain above the dotted play-off line, however, and should consolidate their position tomorrow with a victory over Crewe. Neil Cox and Gifton Noel-Williams are back in contention following suspensions, but Paolo Vernazza serves a one-match ban.
VERDICT: HAPPY HORNETS
