Ronaldo: wants his 'dream' move to Real Madrid

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has advised Cristiano Ronaldo to remain at Old Trafford, yet his own future at the club is in doubt.

Queiroz has urged the winger to stay but has refused to rule himself out of becoming the new Portugal coach following Luiz Felipe Scolari's decision to join Chelsea.

Although he has waded into the debate over Ronaldo on United's behalf, Queiroz was silent about his personal ambitions.

"United is very special," he said. "Because of that we know how to surround Cristiano with all the affection and attention he deserves."
