City move for Bosvelt

Manchester City have agreed an undisclosed fee with Feyenoord for Dutch international Paul Bosvelt.

The 33-year-old midfielder is due in Manchester today to sign a two-year contract.

Bosvelt has won the Dutch title and UEFA Cup and played 18 times for Holland.

But he is probably best remembered here for a horror tackle on Manchester United's Denis Irwin in a 1997 Champions League clash.
